Beautiful As You Are (Luffy x Reader)

Your reflection gazed back at you with a frown. Unhappy with what you saw you pinched your excess fat. You turned this way and that, assessing every possible angle of your body and criticizing even the most minuscule imperfections. You groaned and looked down in disappointment.  There would be no more feasting with Luffy every night you decided conclusively. You glanced back at the mirror only to be startled by the said raven-haired male standing behind you.

“Whatcha doin’ _____?” Luffy asked with a wide grin. He stared very much appreciating your scantily clad body.

You glared at the man, “LUFFY, what did I say about knocking before you come in here?”

“I did knock, and you just didn’t answer so I came in anyway. It’s time for dinner you know~” he pouted in a childish way. You paled, it was as if he knew your very thoughts and was plotting to ruin any semblance of resolve you once had.

“Oh, well I’m not very hungry Luffy, you can have my share if you want.” you replied dejectedly. At this the strawhat pirate exclaimed in joy at the thought of more food, before abruptly stopping and changing his mind.

“No, you have to eat it too. If you’re not eating, it’s no fun.”

“Luffy, I gained too much weight, I’m not you, you know? So I’ll just have to go on a diet for a little while.”

Luffy looked at you thoughtfully and then hit his fist in his hand and said, “Oh I get it, it’s mystery weight.”

To which you looked at him confusedly and wailed , “No, what are you talking about? It’s right here, all over me.”

“Well I don’t see any weight so it has to be a mystery if only you can see it right? Anyway, mystery weight or not, you gotta eat.” He grabbed you by your hand and started pulling you out of the room. He gave you a big grin and made your heart melt by saying, “You look beautiful no matter what _____.”
