Stalker Part 1 (Cop!Smoker x Reader) AU

"Hey girls!” You cheered with a big smile walking towards the two women. Nami and Robin had agreed to meet you at a dance club called CP9 and have a few drinks to celebrate you getting your dream job as a head researcher at a biogenic facility. The two women grinned and reached for hugs as you made your way over.

“Congrats ___! You really deserve it! In fact, I’ll buy the first round of drinks.” The orange haired woman said in a loud voice. You gaped at her with wide eyes. “Who are you and what have you done with Nami?”

“Ha Ha. Good one.” She laughed sarcastically before smacking you in the back of the head to which you whined and grabbed your head in pain. Robin simply giggled at your antics.

Nami shook her head with a chuckle and called the bartender over to get the drinks ordered. You turned to Robin in the meantime and chatted idly about how much things had changed over the years.

Just then “Cake By the Ocean” by DNCE came on and the crowd on the dance floor surged with excitement for the catchy song. The mass of drunk and sweaty people cheered while jumped up and down and started to sing along. Nami returned with the drinks and demanded that you and Robin chug them down so the three of you could dance. She impatiently watched as you finished your drinks and dragged the two of you on the dance floor. The three of you laughed together while singing and dancing in a wild fashion. Your cheeks flushed with happiness as you continued dancing with your best friends. Unknown to you a dark figure in the corner of the room had caught sight of you and smirked a little watching you dance.

“____ is that you?!” You turned when your name was called to identify the person. You smiled when you saw a shock of blue hair. “Franky!!” You cheered reaching for the larger man. He came up next to you and danced in his typical super fashion.

“Who are you here with?” You shouted over the music.
“I’m here with those guys over there.” He pointed his thumb towards the bar. You stood on your tiptoes to see a mismatched group of men. One with black hair and a scar on his face, one with blond hair and a goatee, one with a head of peculiar mint colored hair.

You laughed, “Is that Zoro? How did you even convince him to come out?”
“I have my ways.” He said darkly. You stared at him for a second and shrugged.

He simply grinned and said, “I can introduce you to the other two.” He then ushered the three of you back towards the bar where the three men were sitting.

“Nice to see you mosshead! Franky must have some real shit on you.” You giggled at his expression after you called him by the nickname. He opened his mouth ready to retort but when he saw it was you, simply smirked and ruffled your hair affectionately.
“Nice to see you too ____”

“Anyway, this is Luffy.” Franky gestured to the black haired man. He laughed in a unique fashion and waved like a child. “And this is Sanji.” While pointing at the blond haired man. He looked at you, Nami, and Robin before starting to breathe heavily and getting a perverted smile on his face. The three of you looked at each other and then to Franky with confused and creeped out looks on your faces.

“Don’t mind him, he comes off as a pervert but he’s a real good guy.” He laughed boisterously while slapping Sanji on the back. Momentarily knocked out of his trance, he smiled at the three of you and gave a polite hello.

“And you guys already know Zoro.” Nami gave him an unimpressed look while sipping her drink. Robin said hello and you snickered as Zoro gave Nami a glare that would intimidate a lesser woman.

“Alright now that introductions are out of the way, let’s drink!” Luffy cheered.

As the night went on 1 drink quickly turned into 10 and you and Nami were sufficiently intoxicated.Robin had taken it upon herself to be the designated driver and make sure that the three of you get back to your respective apartments safely. You wrapped your arms around Nami and Robin’s shoulders while giggling drunkenly. The guys laughed at your foolish acts as they walked the three of you to Robin’s car.

“I love you guys.” You cooed in adoration while being unceremoniously shoved into the back seat of the car.  “Bye Franky, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji! I’ll see you guys soon!” You shouted and blew kisses through the closed window. Robin got in the driver’s seat with a light smile, ensured Nami was safely in the passenger’s seat and started the car. She gave a good bye to the guys and received a chorus of, “drive safe.” Then drove away with your apartment in mind as the destination.
